Our story begins almost 20 years ago on Rue du Cherche Midi, tucked away in the heart of the Left Bank of Paris. An oasis among the hustle and bustle of cosmopolitan life, Rue du Cherche Midi’s historic corridors offered a welcome respite where visitors could take a breath, reflect and find a moment of solitude. Wanting to capture this feeling and share it with others, Le Cherche Midi was born and began a journey to inspire others to experience their own ‘found moments’ through fine fragrance.

We spent the next two years perfecting our first fragrance, Le Cherche Midi 01, using the ideas, images, and feelings of an ocean-side retreat as our inspiration. Le Cherche Midi 01 quickly developed a dedicated following, transporting our customers to another time and place unique to each individual. Knowing that we could never capture all these memories, places or moments in a single title, we decided to leave the fragrances unnamed – identified only by a color and number – allowing everyone to create their own interpretation of what our fragrances suggest.

With this philosophy in mind, we have continued to expand our collection to include a wide range of sophisticated fragrances that are meant to be worn on the skin and used in the surrounding environment.
